I specialize in helping individuals overcome stress and anxiety, including social anxiety, public speaking anxiety, performance anxiety, and stress in competitive work environments. My approach addresses the root causes, offering tools to manage and reduce symptoms.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious in social settings, nervous about public speaking, or stressed by a competitive work environment, I am here to support you.
My approach
My approach involves understanding and appreciating the parts of you that are working hard to keep you safe. Together, we can build confidence and improve your quality of life.
My approach is based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, which are compassion-based. In IFS we offer compassion and kindness to the younger parts of ourselves that have been neglected. Additionally, I believe in a "no gurus" approach, where therapy is seen as self-leadership (connecting to your inner wisdom). We learn to take care of our own parts and end the internal war.
Your First Session With Me
Before our first session, I will send you a questionnaire to understand your background and current challenges. We will meet online through Zoom, where our initial session will be a discovery session to map out your internal parts. During this session, we will explore the parts involved in your current life circumstances and identify those needing your attention.
We will also determine which technique suits you best, whether it be IFS (Internal Family Systems) or EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). You may already have a preference, or we can explore your options together.
Sometimes the discovery process takes 15 minutes, and other times it may take the full 70 minutes, depending on what your system needs at the moment. Regardless, we will use the remaining time to continue with a productive session.
