The focus is on the trusting relationship between therapist and client. Through genuine empathy, appreciation and authenticity, a space is created in which healing can take place – at your pace, in your own way.
Integrative & humanistic therapy
________________
A holistic approach that encompasses body, mind and soul. The goal is not to ‘function’ but to be alive – with everything that makes you who you are. I combine methods mindfully and individually, tailored to you.
Working with the inner child
________________
There is an inner child within each of us – with all its feelings, needs and experiences. If old wounds from childhood still shape our thoughts, feelings and actions today, it is worth listening to them lovingly.
In working with the inner child, we create a safe space to gently get to know, comfort and integrate these wounded parts.
This creates a new, deeper compassion for yourself – and often, for the first time, the feeling: I am safe. I am enough. I am allowed to be.
Costs
________________
As a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, I bill privately. This means that clients usually bear the costs of the sessions themselves. In some cases, private health insurance companies, supplementary insurance companies or the Beihilfe (civil service health insurance) cover some or all of the costs – please clarify this in advance with your insurance company. I invoice according to the fee schedule for non-medical practitioners (GebüH).
The advantage of self-financed psychotherapy lies in confidentiality: no diagnosis is transmitted, and no health
The advantage of self-financed psychotherapy lies in confidentiality: no diagnosis is transmitted, and no health insurance company or authority learns about your therapeutic process. This protects your privacy – e.g. when taking out insurance policies later on or possibly becoming a civil servant.
If your financial resources are limited, please feel free to contact me – we will work together to find a suitable fee. Some clients with more resources consciously pay a higher contribution, thus enabling other people to access therapy.
Location
________________
I currently offer open therapy places online – via data protection-compliant providers such as Zoom or the video service from therapie.de. From experience, I can say that genuine connection is possible even via a screen. Many of my clients even appreciate the flexibility and familiarity of their own environment.
There are also occasionally places available at my practice in Berlin.
Please enquire for more information.
Procedure if you are interested
________________
1. Initial consultation / getting to know each other
• In the first consultation, we get to know each other and look at your concerns together.
• We work as we would in a regular session and clarify any open questions about our collaboration.
• The introductory session lasts 50 minutes and costs £60.
• Afterwards, we will decide together whether working together is the right fit.
2. Framework for working together
• I work in clear phases of 8 sessions each to create a safe framework.
• The frequency (recommended: weekly or every 2 weeks) is determined together at the beginning.
• You can book appointments flexibly via a simple booking page – or we can set them in advance.
• Around halfway through, we will review: Should we continue, take a break, or consciously conclude?
3. Optional: Open Q&A call
• All clients are invited to the monthly Zoom Q&A call: a confidential space for questions about your personal journey, therapeutic processes, and self-development.
• It can be empowering to feel that you are not alone. Others are on similar paths – and that creates a bond.
Cancellation policy: You can cancel the session 2 working days (48 hours) before the session. Otherwise, I will have to charge for the session.
