About me

Hi I'm Oonagh it's such a pleasure to meet you. If you're currently feeling, overwhelmed and stuck in your career, perhaps considering a different direction all together, you've come to the right place. I'm a certified Nutritional Therapist, Personal and Professional Coach, and Meditation Facilitator with over 8 years of experience working with clients to break free from burnout and re-engineer their lives. I started my career in the hospitality industry, first as a baker and then as a chef. I worked in hotels, restaurants and bistros. And I learned that the high pressure, highly competitive work environment wasn't for me. But, I couldn't figure out how to get out. My passion for food and mental health lead to me to pursue a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy, followed by a specialisation in Disordered Eating. I started my practice in 2017 while I was still studying and working in hospitality on the side to pay my way. For several years I was stuck in this rut of wanting to find the freedom to live a balanced and stress free life, yet it seemed no matter what I did, I found myself feeling burnt out and overworked. That's when I realised the harsh truth. I was, in fact, the problem. I had been conditioned to believe that I needed to hustle to succeed. That I was only valuable if I was being productive. How wrong I was. What I really dreamed of deep down was a slow life. A life where I helped people to feel great inside and out but not at the expense of my own physical and mental health. Fast forward to today, I've now had the pleasure of supporting over 250 clients (and counting) with stressful careers to break free from burnout and re-engineer their lives so that they can't wait to jump out of bed in the morning. I'm especially passionate about working with clients who are feeling burnt out and stuck in their career and are secretly dreaming of a change in direction. Or maybe even a career break - yes you can take one - in preparation for a fresh start.

Here on it's complicated, I will work with you to create that life you've always dreamed of but never thought was possible. Phase 1: Create Circumstances: Free up Schedule. Set boundaries. Phase 2: Fill my cup energy. Joy. “Energy Sandwich.” Phase 3: Self care. Nutrition, Sleep. Phase 4: Nervous system, breathing, meditation. How does it work? The first step is to clearly identify what success means to you. It might be a 6 figure business or it could mean quitting your toxic job and going backpacking for a year. Or maybe it means to just be able to wake up feeling energised in the morning so that you can be fully present with your loved ones. Once you're super clear and aligned it's time make it happen. This next phase will be building a clear plan of action that you can implement on a day to day basis. Depending on your individual situation and aspirations, this is where we will look at what tools you will need to make this happen. As a Nutritional Therapist, my approach looks at your life and body as a whole. Burnout is often caused by a misalignment with the life you're currently leading. Finding the right direction is a huge part of healing and thriving. But, we also need to also address the underlying symptoms such as: Insomnia, fatigue, brain fog, overwhelm, stress and anxiety by healing our bodies from the inside out.
