About me

I completed my studies in Clinical and Health Psychology (M.Sc.) at the Free University of Berlin and am currently in training to become a Psychological Psychotherapist with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My inspiration to work with traumatic experiences, anxiety, and depression comes from my professional experiences as a counselor and therapist with various clients, as well as in the field of forensic psychiatry. Traumatic events can have serious effects on the lives of those affected, both psychologically and physically, significantly impacting self-esteem and self-perception. It is important to me to address these topics sensitively and respectfully, as they are often associated with painful suffering. My experience shows that appropriate processing can be crucial first steps toward finding relief.

Many of us often find it very difficult to open up, especially in stressful and challenging situations, and to articulate our thoughts and feelings. I recognize that each person has their own way of communicating. Therefore, it is important to me that we work together to create a comfortable atmosphere. The opportunity to engage in various therapeutic exercises could also be a helpful way to facilitate this process.
