Hi, I am Maxim, 38 years old, born in Russia and living in Berlin since 2017.
The way I work is integrative, with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I'm also drawn to existential and psychodynamic ideas, which naturally shape how I work. I have a particular interest in neurodiversity-affirming therapy and new insights from neuroscience.
Alongside my therapy training, I've studied systemic and career coaching. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in IT and HR -- my first degree is in computer science and mathematics.
If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or sleep issues, I’m here to help. I also support clients navigating identity-related challenges and relationship dynamics, including non-monogamy. My practice is a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals, where you can explore your experiences without judgment.
If you're neurodivergent -- diagnosed or or self-identified -- I integrate strategies specifically designed for ADHD and Autism (with lower support needs), helping you balance skill-building with self-acceptance.
We can also work through unresolved childhood experiences that may still be affecting your self-worth, relationships, and emotional well-being.
