About me

I’m a Serbian-English speaking practitioner offering psychological support and counselling to people going through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My experience includes working closely with trauma and its impact on everyday life. I have supported refugees and asylum seekers from the Middle East, as well as young adults facing questions of identity, belonging, and relationships. Through this work, I have developed a deep sensitivity to how overwhelming experiences can shape the way we feel, think, and relate to others. Growing up in a society that has gone through significant social and political challenges has further shaped my understanding of both personal and collective trauma. I approach this work with care, respect, and an awareness that even difficult experiences can, over time, open space for change and new perspectives. Alongside this, I have worked in private practice with clients from different backgrounds, supporting them through emotional struggles, relational challenges, and questions of meaning and direction. Since 2021, I have continued my practice in Berlin, working in an international environment. Living and working between cultures has helped me better understand the psychological impact of change, migration, and adaptation. It has also deepened my ability to stay attentive both to what we share as human beings and to what makes each person’s experience unique.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore how their unconscious mind and early experiences affect their current behaviors and feelings.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
For me, this work is about creating a stable and open space where you can slowly get in contact with your inner world and begin to understand it more deeply. My approach is informed by a psychoanalytically-oriented perspective and focuses on supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, and questions of personal development. I offer a non-directive space where you are free to express your thoughts, emotions, fantasies, and dreams in your own way and at your own pace. Together, we explore patterns, feelings, and inner conflicts that may not always be immediately visible, but still strongly influence how you experience yourself and others. Rather than working with fixed techniques or structured protocols, I pay close attention to each person’s individual process. Especially when working with trauma or emotionally intense experiences, I aim to create a grounded and safe environment where exploration can happen without pressure or overwhelm. I believe that developing a deeper understanding of one’s inner world can gradually lead to meaningful change — in how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to life as a whole.
