About me
I am a clinical psychologist trained in psychoanalytic approach. I am working with adult individuals. I graduated from Bogazici University, where I completed my bachelor's degree in the Psychology department and my master's education in Clinical Psychology. During my master's education, I worked as an intern psychologist at the Bogazici University Psychology Research and Application Center (BUPAM) for two years, where I conducted long-term individual psychodynamic psychotherapy with young adults under supervision. Later on, I continued my psychotherapy practice at a counseling center in Istanbul using in-person and online means and currently I accept clients at Mittelweg 50, Berlin. I I have a strong commitment to self-development in my field, which is why I am actively engaging in various trainings focused on psychoanalysis, and consulting issues related to sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

My practice aims to help clients overcome the distress they bring to the session by exploring the conscious and unconscious emotions they experience. I value providing a space to gain insight into emotions, wishes, and needs in order to live more authentically.
The sessions usually take place once a week, and each session lasts 45 minutes. During the in-take sessions, I would like the client to narrate their story in general terms so that we can establish a suitable foundation to understand the current issues. To facilitate this process, I ask some questions to guide the client. Following a few initial sessions, we begin to explore the themes that emerge in our sessions.
