My journey in cognitive psychology and counselling is driven by a profound commitment to assisting individuals in overcoming the emotional and behavioral challenges associated with living in new and unfamiliar environments. After completing my training in Bristol and earning a PhD in Psychology, I dedicated myself to understanding how our minds adapt to life's complexities, particularly during times of change.
Having lived and worked in Taiwan, the UK, France, Belgium, and now Germany, I bring a diverse and global perspective to my practice. Berlin, with its vibrant expat community, serves as the perfect backdrop for my work. I deeply understand the pressures and uncertainties that come with adjusting to a new culture, and I am passionate about helping fellow expats find clarity, resilience, and balance during these transitions.
I specialize in supporting clients facing challenges such as burnout, career transitions, anxiety, attachment issues, and trauma. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), my approach focuses on addressing the unique stressors of expatriate life—whether it's managing the emotional toll of uprooting, overcoming feelings of disconnection, or navigating career uncertainties in a new country.
My mission is to help you regain stability and confidence as you adjust to life abroad. Together, we will work towards finding balance, purpose, and a deeper sense of well-being, enabling you to thrive amidst the challenges of expat life.
