About me

Are you feeling disconnected from your body, your desires or your partner? Are you navigating the complexities of modern relationships, such as low desire, open relationships, infidelity, online dating or attachment challenges?Do past traumas cast a shadow on your present relationships and sexual experiences? Perhaps you long for deeper intimacy, more authentic connection or a more fulfilling sex life, but find yourself blocked by anxiety, shame or unresolved pain?

As a sex and relationship therapist and advanced-level Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore these challenges and reconnect with your innate capacity for pleasure, connection and healing. Drawing upon the innovative approaches of David Schnarch and Ulrich Clement, as well as attachment-focused Somatic Experiencing and the insights of Joseph Riordan and Ariel Gioretto, I integrate body-based techniques with relational and systemic perspectives. My extensive graduate training in the UK, combined with specialised training in systemic sex therapy with Ulrich Clement in Berlin, provides me with a unique and holistic approach to addressing your specific needs. At the heart of my work is the belief that authentic connection is only possible when we are able to stay grounded in our own sense of self. This differentiation-based approach supports deeper intimacy, emotional maturity and lasting relational change.
Understanding Trauma and the Nervous System:

Somatic Experiencing recognises that trauma and negative experiences are not just stored in the mind but are also held within the nervous system. This can manifest as physical tension, emotional dysregulation and difficulties in connecting with others (Somatic Experiencing International® 2024). Traditional "talk therapy" is often useful but isn't enough, as it might not fully address these deeply held, body-based patterns. SE utilises "bottom-up" techniques, working directly with the body to gently release and transform these stored experiences. By increasing physiological awareness of your body, conventional trauma treatment approaches may have improved effectiveness. This process helps to restore self-regulation and resilience.

What I Offer:

I work with individuals, couples and groups to address a wide range of issues, including:

Sexual Trauma: Healing the impact of past sexual trauma on your body, relationships and sexual expression.

Relationship Issues: Navigating conflict, improving communication and deepening intimacy in your relationships.

Sexual Disconnection: Reclaiming your desire, addressing sexual anxieties and exploring new possibilities for pleasure.

Attachment Wounds: Understanding how early attachment experiences shape your current relationships and developing more secure connections.

Embodiment: Cultivating a deeper awareness of your body and its wisdom, allowing you to access your innate resources for healing and resilience.

Navigating Modern Relationships: Exploring challenges related to sexuality and parenthood, low desire, open relationships and infidelity.

Attachment-Focused Somatic Experiencing Groups:

These groups offer a powerful opportunity to explore your attachment patterns and how they play out in your relationships. Through somatic experiencing techniques, mindful awareness, and relational connection, you'll learn to better understand your attachment behaviours and move toward more secure attachment. By engaging the felt-sense, regulating your nervous system and accessing your innate capacity for self-soothing, you can heal past wounds and create more fulfilling emotional and sexual connections with yourself and others.

Originally from Northern Germany, I’ve completed my university education and clinical training across the UK, Canada and Greece. I currently work from a warm and welcoming space in Berlin’s Bergmannkiez and offer online sessions for international clients to support flexible and accessible care.

My work is deeply influenced by a differentiation-oriented perspective, grounded in the belief that meaningful connection in relationships can only emerge when each person has the capacity to remain connected to their own sense of self. Through my training and workshops with David Schnarch in London, I’ve come to view differentiation — the ability to stay connected to oneself while remaining emotionally engaged with another — as a cornerstone of both personal growth and relational depth. This orientation invites emotional maturity, greater intimacy and the kind of honesty that allows real change to happen.

Alongside this foundation, I integrate attachment-focused Somatic Experiencing®, systemic sex therapy, and neuro-psychodynamic approaches.

I believe in therapy that is experiential and embodied — not just analytical. The work we do together may include gentle attention to physical sensations, awareness of relational dynamics and the gradual integration of parts of the self that may have become fragmented through trauma or relational wounding.
I work in a way that is trauma-informed, sex-positive and affirming of diverse lived experiences, identities and relationship models.

In line with best practice, I engage in ongoing clinical supervision and peer intervision with leading international experts.

Please note:
I do not work with insurance providers, including private health insurance.

I spend approximately four months per year working remotely, during which sessions take place exclusively online. Clients must be comfortable with occasional online work. Ample notice will always be given.

I maintain a 48-hour cancellation policy. Sessions cancelled within this window will be charged in full.

I offer introductory consultation calls (30 minutes) at 45 € for individuals and 60 € for couples. A short pre-call questionnaire will be sent once a call is booked.
