Clinical Psychologist (M.Sc.) and Psychotherapist in training (behavioral therapy). Currently working as a psychologist in an inpatient psychiatric setting, specifically in the area of addiction disorders, in a crisis intervention center, as well as providing individual psychosocial support.
My expertise primarily lies in the treatment of addiction disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, and depression, as well as in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD.
A particularly important aspect of my work with clients is the unconditional positive regard for each individual, creating a safe and trusting environment where the person feels understood and accepted. I also prioritize fostering open communication that paves the way for accessing individual resources and exploring solutions.
In working with clients and patients—particularly those with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, depressive disorders, addiction disorders, and ADHD—I primarily take a (cognitive-)behavioral therapeutic approach. An important part of my previous roles has also involved detailed cross-disorder and disorder-specific diagnostics of existing symptoms, as well as intervention in acute crises. Additionally, I assist clients by imparting both theoretical and practical knowledge about existing care structures (e.g., connecting them to support systems).
