About me

I offer psychotherapy in my private practice near Hackescher Markt in Berlin. Treatment is available for privately insured clients as well as on a self-pay basis. Alongside individual therapy, I also offer couples counselling and couples-focused therapeutic support on a self-pay basis. In my work with couples, I aim to provide a structured, balanced and respectful space in which both perspectives can be heard and explored together. For an initial orientation and to clarify organisational matters, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. Feel free to reach out if you would like to arrange one.

I see therapy as a collaborative process where we don’t just focus on symptoms, but also try to understand the patterns that have developed over time and may be contributing to distress in the present. In our work together, I aim to help you develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, make space for difficult emotions, and gain a deeper understanding of inner conflicts. My work is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and integrates emotion-focused and schema-informed approaches. A trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. At the same time, I work in an attentive and transparent way with the patterns that show up in thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. This includes gently reflecting these patterns and exploring together which strategies may once have been protective or helpful, but may now be contributing to pressure, exhaustion, or emotional distress. It is important to me that you feel understood, taken seriously, and safe within the therapeutic process. At the same time, therapy can also be a space where new perspectives emerge and familiar ways of coping can be explored with curiosity and care. My aim is to support you in strengthening self-efficacy, developing a clearer sense of your own boundaries, and moving towards a life that feels more aligned with your values and needs.

Experience

I work in my own private practice within a group practice near Hackescher Markt in Berlin. Previously, I worked in the outpatient psychotherapy clinic of the Berliner FortbildungsAkademie für Psychotherapie, in a psychosomatic clinic, as well as in geriatric and other clinical settings. Through these roles, I gained extensive experience in psychological support, assessment, and both individual and group settings, working with people facing a wide range of mental health challenges across different stages of life.

Das Orientierungsgespräch bietet die Möglichkeit für ein erstes kurzes Kennenlernen. In einem ca. 15-minütigen Gespräch können wir gemeinsam klären, ob mein Angebot grundsätzlich zu Ihrem Anliegen passt, welche organisatorischen Rahmenbedingungen relevant sind und welche nächsten Schritte sinnvoll sein könnten. Das Gespräch dient der ersten Orientierung und ersetzt keine psychotherapeutische Sprechstunde oder Behandlung.

Couples Session

Für Paare, die sich in belastenden Beziehungsmustern, wiederkehrenden Konflikten oder Phasen der Entfremdung befinden. In einem strukturierten und wertschätzenden Rahmen unterstütze ich Sie dabei, Dynamiken besser zu verstehen, Kommunikation zu verbessern und neue Perspektiven aufeinander und Ihre Beziehung zu entwickeln.

Die Einzelsitzung bietet einen geschützten Rahmen, um aktuelle Belastungen, emotionale Themen und wiederkehrende Muster gemeinsam zu betrachten. Ziel ist es, mehr Klarheit darüber zu gewinnen, was Sie im Moment beschäftigt, welche inneren Dynamiken wirksam sind und welche Schritte im weiteren Verlauf hilfreich sein könnten.
