About me

I was born in Caracas - Venezuela, from a family of different cultures in which I became interested in understanding the ways in which culture and society intervene in our developmental processes as individuals. I studied psychology and specialized in social psychology as a path to continue understanding the person within culture and how to become autonomous in finding one's own unique voice within the boundaries that social structures provide. I continued my studies in the areas of lacanian analysis, body-mind techniques and expressive arts therapies which have in common the look for the personal truth and the very own means of expression that each singular individual needs. I believe that when we are able to express our own truth we can encounter our inner strengths and resources to navigate through the circumstances and unease that we experience in being alive.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Art therapyRecommended for those who feel more comfortable expressing emotions through creativity and want to explore their feelings through art rather than talking.
Body therapyRecommended for those who want to connect their mind and body to release stress or trauma through physical sensations and movement.
Lacanian PsychoanalysisRecommended for those who want to explore the unconscious mind through the lens of language and desire, focusing on understanding deeper motivations.
For more than 10 years I focus my work on attentively listening and accompanying each person's singularity with openness to explore their own history and particularities that make them who they are, allowing the unease to show itself as an opportunity for development and transformation. I believe that when we have a space to explore ourselves with openness, we become aware and attentive to what we desire and the very own meanings for our lives have space to emerge. Through a sensitive and attentive approach I offer both English and Spanish counseling online.
