I am a clinical psychologist, couples therapist and psychotherapist.
I support people through crises, relationship issues, and personal development processes, working from a psychodynamic perspective that helps to understand recurring patterns and find new perspectives. In my previous work – including in community mental health services as well as clinical and outpatient settings – I have accompanied people with mental health difficulties, in crises, and during challenging phases of life. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and expats, and I place great importance on creating a safe and trusting space where thoughts and feelings can be explored openly. I work with a clear focus on the dynamics underlying current difficulties, with the aim of developing new perspectives and possibilities for change together.
This perspective assumes that our current emotions and patterns of behavior are deeply shaped by earlier relationship experiences. In therapy, these often unconscious dynamics can become visible and understandable. Gaining insight into them makes it possible to change limiting patterns and to discover new ways of experiencing and relating.
In my work with relationship issues, the concept of the Core Conflictual Relationship Theme (CCRT) plays an important role. This approach helps to identify and understand underlying relationship patterns and inner conflicts, providing the foundation for deep and lasting change. The goal of my work is to support clients in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and in finding new ways of relating to themselves and others.
I also work as a couples therapist. In my work, I focus on making unconscious patterns in relationships visible and understanding how they influence the emotional connection between partners. I aim to help couples develop a deeper understanding of each other, reconnect, and explore and resolve their conflicts together.
I offer online sessions and in-person sessions in Berlin.
I currently work exclusively with self-paying clients, and billing through statutory or private health insurance is not possible. The treatment takes place outside the statutory psychotherapeutic care system and does not constitute guideline-based psychotherapy within the meaning of the Psychotherapy Directive of the Federal Joint Committee.
