I am a Gestalt therapist and a licensed practicioner for psychotherapy. My work is shaped by many years of experience as social worker, as well as my training in anti-violence work (TESYA approach).
My therapeutic work is grounded in the humanistic approach of Gestalt therapy, which views the person as a whole. I work in a resource-oriented way and support my clients in discovering their own strengths, navigating challenges and creating a more fulfilling life.
My diverse experiences - ranging from working with children, adolescents and adults to international projects, as well as my passion for music, sports, and creativity - inform my work and make it dynamic and alive.
“Security is an illusion. Life means taking risks and staying in motion.” (Laura Perls, co-founder of Gestalt therapy)
This quote highlights the importance of aliveness and the willingness to face the uncertainty of life in order to live authentically and with awareness in the here and now. Gestalt therapy can make a meaningful contribution to developing courage and inner strength, to set out on one’s path. In a sense, this journey is a way home — to oneself.
Within the therapeutic process, you are offered the opportunity to build a connection with another person, who gives you their full attention and places their experience and professional knowledge at your service.
Through new and emerging insights, emotions, body, and mind can come together in an intense and rewarding experience — one that has the potential to mobilize your inner resources and support the development of your personality.
You are invited into a therapeutic relationship that accompanies and supports you in the adventure of getting to know yourself more deeply.
Gestalt therapy does not adhere to rigid ideologies. Rather, it supports you in releasing blockages and unproductive suffering, and accompanies you on the path toward deeper contact — with yourself and with others — growth, and authentic expression.
I work as a Gestalt therapist in private practice. I completed my training at igg Berlin (Institute for Gestalt Education and Gestalt Therapy).
Alongside my therapeutic work, I bring over 20 years of experience in social work with people in a wide range of life situations.
As an anti-violence trainer and mediator, conflict, communication and violence prevention have been and continue to be central focuses of my work.
