Gestalt and body psychotherapy in Berlin and online. I offer a mindful space to navigate crises, facilitate change, and integrate unloved parts. The therapeutic journey can bring joy.
I was born in 1986 in a small town in western Germany and grew up in unconventional family settings. My path led me through theatre, dance, and performance projects, where I explored creative expression and collective themes, eventually guiding me to therapeutic work.
My experiences with queer identity and the search for belonging shape how I see people and social systems. It is important to me to create spaces where diversity is welcome and everyone can feel safe to be themselves.
I particularly value group work, where it becomes clear that we are not alone with our experiences and questions. This shared resonance informs my work and continues to inspire me.
I see my work as a living process in which people can get to know themselves better, try out new ways of being, and cultivate relationships in a more open and freer way.
I support you in discovering your inner stability and the resources that sustain you.
With compassion, I guide you through difficult areas and offer a safe space where you can proceed at your own pace.
I help you gain new perspectives and encourage you to try new things.
With enthusiasm and depth, I accompany the change that occurs when we pause and give ourselves time and space.
With compassion, mindfulness, and a curiosity for exploration, I accompany you in discovering paths to healing. I meet you with respect and trust in your innate ability to find your way, even if it currently feels hidden or blocked.
In therapy, I encourage you to slow down and tune into your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. In a safe and accepting space, all feelings are welcome – sadness, anger, shame, fear, pain, or even numbness. By allowing these emotions to exist without judgment, new perspectives and possibilities can emerge.
Through mindful body awareness, we explore what your body communicates. Where is there openness? Where is there tension? Using breath, movement, and voice, we can help release what feels stuck and allow for greater flow and connection.
Depending on your needs and preferences, therapy may include conversations, working with inner parts, imagery, dreams, role-play, constellations, or body-centered exercises.
As challenging as it may be to open up, to look within, and to feel – the therapeutic process can bring joy.
