I was born in Dublin spent almost all my life there until 2009, when I moved to Germany. Before that I studied philosophy at Trinity College Dublin and, after graduating, worked in business and the arts.
My interest in psychotherapy first began during my time at university and I wrote my thesis on an aspect of C.G. Jung’s work. In 2011, I began training in humanistic and integrative counselling and psychotherapy at the Irish Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies (now the Turning Point Institute) in Dublin, graduating in 2016 with a Diploma in Integrative Clinical Psychotherapy. I also hold a Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin City University, the European Certificate of Psychotherapy and a certificate in trauma therapy.
I am a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), the Deutscher Dachverband für Psychotherapie (DVP) and the Association of Counselors and Therapists Berlin (ACT). I have been living and working in Berlin since 2009 where I am licensed to practice psychotherapy under the Heilpraktiker Gesetz. I have been seeing patients since 2013.
