About me

After studying Computer Sciences my first career was in IT, where I quickly started turning from code to group dynamics and making projects more inclusive. After crises on multiple levels and when I was further along in my own healing journey, I realised during a sabbatical that I wanted to pass on the gift of therapy and support the daring on their way. As you can see from my own experience I firmly believe in second chances in life.

These past years I spent in training in integrative body psychotherapy and trauma therapy, because I experienced first hand how the body in its beauty and wisdom can be your bridge to a solution, to the next impulse, to create a new connection and to learn something new.

My approach

Often we lose connection to important parts of our self or repress early experiences, because the pain and confusion were just too much for us back then. To get to know these parts of ourselves and slowly make friends with them again, can make us whole as a human being; thus a deeper and more fulfilling life is possible.

To me this is central to the work:

- getting to know and using vital and lively resources for coping and change
- discovering and bringing our natural wishes, ideas and plans to life
- maturing with the challenges of life

Body Psychotherapy has a lively and very rich tradition and gives us a multitude of possibilities to work directly with breath, grounding, centering, stabilisation, posture and interaction. Through e.g. perception exercises, expression and movement work, massages, stagings and creative processes out of experience and body memory we can create a field for direct, perceptible, holistic and lively experiences in dealing with ourselves and others.
