My background includes comprehensive psychotherapeutic training with a focus on Schema Therapy, more than twelve years of experience as a psychologist, over 18 years of personal meditation practice, and further training in MBSR, MBCT, Somatic Bodywork (Pantarei Approach), Transformative Dance by Hadas Fisher-Oren, and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®).
In my work, I offer you a safe space where you are welcome just as you are. My therapeutic style is compassionate and resource-oriented, grounded in a deeply appreciative view of you as a whole human being in all of our perfect imperfection (“Holy Mess”). The way I meet you is deeply shaped by my longstanding mindfulness practice and embodies openness, curiosity, and compassion in a relationship based on mutual respect and equality.
Together, we explore the deeply rooted experiences, patterns, and beliefs that may unconsciously shape your life and keep you from living your full potential. Alongside thoughts and inner images, we give meaningful space to the language of the body and to emotional experience. In this way, a space can emerge in which profound processes of transformation and personal growth become possible.
My therapeutic approach is also grounded in the understanding that we each have a compassionate and clear inner core – our authentic Self or, in the words of Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems, IFS), our “true Self”: “the calm, compassionate essence of who you are.” This Self is free from learned patterns and external definitions of who we are. An important part of my work is therefore to support you in becoming increasingly aware of your Self and strengthening your connection to the inner wisdom that already resides within you – so that, over time, you need me less and less as a companion on your journey.
When we are in contact with this inner core, greater clarity, aliveness, and a deep sense of connection can naturally emerge, allowing more and more of our potential to unfold.
