About me

For many years of my life, I was on the road as a spiritual seeker. On long journeys through Asia, I have dealt intensively with my inner life and the big questions of life. In the process, I encountered various spiritual schools, gurus and teachers. In numerous meditation retreats, some lasting several months – mainly in Buddhist traditions in South East Asia, India and the USA – I learned about a variety of mindfulness practices, had deep inner experiences and increasingly found some inner peace. In 2012, my life changed noticeably – with the birth of my son and my new job at the crisis center of the Urban Hospital in Kreuzberg. I came out of my spiritual bubble and was confronted with other realities. Instead of continuing to immerse myself in meditative contemplation, I found joy in the lively interaction with people and a wide range of life issues – both professional and personal. In the process, I began to engage more intensively with Western psychology and various therapeutic models. Today I see myself as a reasonably integrated person: With one leg I am still in touch with the truths that had revealed themselves in deep meditation, but with the other I stand firmly on the ground of everyday life in the big city. My life has become richer and more diverse as a result. I particularly enjoy therapeutic work with people, and the creative interplay between meditation and psychology also inspires me. This is expressed in the “Psychoactive Meditation”, an open group that I offer several times a month. I originally trained as a nurse and have been working therapeutically on a crisis intervention ward since 2012. Before that, I worked in an epilepsy intensive care unit for many years and in a hospice for two years. As a Heilpraktiker for psychotherapy, I have completed trainings in Focusing and IFS therapy (Internal Family Systems), as well as trainings in systemic couples therapy, solution-oriented systemic counseling and hypnosis. Approach

Treatment Approaches
IFS: Internal Family SystemsRecommended for those who want to explore and heal the different parts of themselves that might feel conflicted or overwhelmed.
Person-centered approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Systemic coachingRecommended for those who want to improve their personal or professional relationships by understanding how they function within larger systems.
The core of my work is radical acceptance: everything is allowed to be as it is, at least at first. Whatever shows up inside you – pain, doubt, joy – is welcome. Once we stop fighting what is, change becomes way easier. That might mean letting go of old stress patterns, integrating painful memories, finding a healthier way to deal with feelings, or simply reconnecting with your intuition. Sometimes it’s also about very practical steps toward solving conflicts or navigating a crisis. I bring years of experience from a renowned crisis ward, solid therapeutic training, and deep roots in mindfulness practice. This allows me to respond flexibly to your needs. My approach is emotion-focused, but with great emphasis on giving you enough space. Healing needs freedom and space and the experience that you are the one making the moves. At the heart of my practice is mindfulness: consciously noticing thoughts, emotions, and body sensations — and meeting them with clarity and acceptance. From there, we explore what works best for you: IFS (Internal Family Systems): understanding and integrating the different (sometimes contradictory) parts of ourselves. Focusing: a body-based approach to intuition and gut feeling. Cognitive work: spotting old beliefs, testing their truth, and swapping them for more supportive ones. Systemic solutions: less “old stories,” more future focus. Seeing clearly what’s here now, and creating fresh visions or concrete next steps. This creates a mindful, protected space where real change can unfold.
