I help guide people through anxiety, loss and change. As a Queer english-speaking therapist I hope to give tools to make your life easier, through both talk and body-oriented counseling using a trauma informed lens.
I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement therapy. I work with individuals in the hopes of giving tools to navigate daily life in a way that you feel makes your life worth living.
As a queer non-binary person, I can offer a shared understanding of queer issues in the therapeutic space, as well as a understanding of non-monogamous relational models. I feel that the body is a gateway to much of what the mind cannot speak, and have seen how much we can gain when we are able to tune into the knowledge of the body. I mainly facilitate talk-therapy, bringing in questions of body awareness at the comfort of the client. You don’t need to be a dancer/mover/shaker to do dance movement therapy!
I am not able to accept insurance.

My approach is inherently trauma-informed and client-centered. Basically, coming into each session with the assumption that everyone has experienced some form of loss, and helping you navigate your world in the way that best serves you. Sometimes I’ll ask body-centered questions, giving tools to help you uncover beliefs, thoughts and behaviors in a body-mind integrated space. I have experience with solution-oriented therapy, CBT, and DBT, and like to integrate skills with resources into sessions so that you can start applying them to your daily life as soon as possible.
