For the past five years I have maintained a private psychological counselling practice where I support individuals through personal exploration, life transitions, and emotional development. I work primarily with migrants, the LGBTQ+ community, and neurodivergent adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and addiction. I integrate Socratic dialogue, psychodynamic tools, radical acceptance, narrative techniques, and psychodrama to help clients understand their internal patterns, gain clarity, and strengthen their sense of direction.
I collaborated with an eating disorder focused clinic led by Dr. Sally Daganzo in Los Angeles, providing psychological support, reflective conversations, psychoeducation, and emotional regulation strategies for individuals working through body image and self-worth challenges. I also assisted in creating educational materials and structured activities for clients and families, which deepened my understanding of trauma, identity, and everyday wellbeing.
Before that I worked in the human rights reporting unit of the National Assembly of Venezuela's Commission of Internal Policy. My responsibilities included documenting cases, preparing reports, and offering primary psychological support to individuals affected by state violence and other critical events. This role involved active listening, crisis-oriented guidance, and trauma-informed approaches to help people organize their experiences in moments of high vulnerability.
