About me

I am an Integrative/Humanistic Psychological Counsellor (PGDip, BACP & UKCP accredited course) with a BA in Psychology and a Master in Psychosocial Intervention. Having lived in Spain, the UK, and now residing in Berlin, helps me empathise with the challenges faced by individuals from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds.

Previously, I worked for Humanitarian Projects in Greece and at Bristol City Council's care homes, where I supported children with developmental trauma. These experiences have been invaluable for both my professional and personal development, providing me with a remarkable perspective that I can apply to my sessions.

During my practice as a therapist in the UK (NAOS charity) I worked with individuals who experienced developmental and sexual trauma, anxiety, gender dysphoria, as well as , who wanted to better understand the relationship with themselves and others.

My passion for counselling and therapy is deeply rooted in my desire to continuously learn about both myself and the world. I am mindful of the contexts and systems we all live in and I deeply care to create a warm, non-judgemental and empowering space for you to explore and understand yourself. In this process, I believe that everyone has their unique rhythm and pace, which I am committed to follow and respect at all times.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
MindfulnessMindfulness is the process of maintaining a purposeful moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surrounding environment.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.

Integrative counselling is a relational, humanistic approach. It empowers the therapist to blend person-centered principles with psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theories. This method focuses on how early childhood experiences and trauma shape present behaviours, making the therapeutic relationship the core vehicle for healing.

Humanistic Core: Grounded in Carl Rogers’ person-centered traditions, it honors the client's agency and believes in the innate potential of every individual.

Psychodynamic Influence: It incorporates psychodynamic theory to help clients understand how their past, early life, and potential trauma subconsciously shape their current lives and relationships.

Relational Sensibility: Rooted heavily in Intersubjective Systems Theory (IST) and Dialogical Gestalt therapy, the central emphasis is placed on the authentic, lived relationship between the client and the therapist.

Holistic Focus: It addresses the whole person, integrating mind, body, and spirit rather than just treating a list of symptoms.

Bespoke sessions: The counsellor does not use a rigid, one-size-fits-all formula. Instead, they adapt to meet the exact, evolving needs of the client.

Finally, I incorporate mindfulness techniques to help you cultivate present-moment awareness and inner calm. This approach can significantly reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and foster resilience. By practicing mindfulness, we can better process trauma, gain clarity, and develop a sense of empowerment to navigate life’s challenges. Mindfulness can help us to live our life more present and peaceful.
