I am a clinical psychologist (M.Sc.), psychological psychotherapist (systemic therapy) and NARM - Practitioner. Mainly in individual and couple settings, I help people to overcome challenging, stressful situations and to grow from them. It is important to me to treat clients as equals, with appreciation and respect, and to focus on their concerns rather than imposing a fixed pattern on them. Accordingly, I work in a process-oriented way and place great importance on empowering clients to take responsibility for themselves. Besides the difficulties and problems, I also focus on the strengths and resources that are inherent in all of us, but which are sometimes blocked from access. I also see symptoms - as stressful as they may be - not exclusively as deficits or mistakes, but as attempts to deal with certain challenges, the meaning and function of which we can explore together in a safe therapeutic setting. This paves the way for exploring new solutions and achieving greater freedom of action and connectedness. I work in a trauma-sensitive way and am convinced that patterns of behavior and experience always have a somatic dimension. Accordingly, I include body awareness and sensations into the therapeutic process.
The focus of my work includes
- Anxiety
- Compulsions
- Depression
- Developmental trauma
- Adaptation to drastic life changes
- Crises of meaning in transitional phases
- Partnership conflicts
- Neurosensitivity ("high sensitivity")
