About me

My name is Giannis Liatsikos. I am a Berlin-based clinical psychologist (MSc) that works with adolescents and adults. I studied psychology at Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski' in Bulgaria and then proceeded to specialize in clinical and counseling psychology. I was born and raised in Greece, in the small village of Zagora, amid numerous fields of olive, apple and beech trees. Upon the completion of my studies I settled in Athens. There I cooperated closely with important greek youth organizations and addiction treatment programs. In 2019 I moved to Berlin where I established my current practice.

My approach

Psychodynamic approach. Our feelings, motives, and decisions are influenced by our past experiences, stored in the unconscious. This form of psychotherapy relies on the interpersonal exchange between a therapist and a client, in order to establish and develop positive strategies that the client can use to create changes.
