Psychologist in Berlin
Clinical Psychologist / Psychodynamic approach (Greek-speaking).
Aiming at the development of social and personal skills for better dealing with life.
My name is Giannis. I am a Berlin-based clinical psychologist (MSc), working with adolescents and adults.
I studied psychology at Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski' in Bulgaria. I also obtained my Master’s degree specializing in clinical and counseling psychology.
I was born and grew up in Greece, in the small village of Zagora, swathed in olives, apple trees, and beeches climbing towards a lofty mountain.
After completing my primary and secondary education I moved to Sofia for my studies. Returning to Greece, I settled in Athens, working as a psychologist in private practice, in various youth support organizations and addiction treatment programs.
Our feelings, motives, and decisions are influenced by our past experiences, stored in the unconscious.
This form of psychotherapy relies on the interpersonal exchange between a therapist and a client, in order to establish and develop positive strategies that the client can use to create changes.
