I have an eclectic and integrative approach, drawing from different corners of psychology, but mainly a holistic one. I practice aspects of Mindfulness-based (eg. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Psychodynamic, Cognitive behavioural (CBT) and Humanistic therapies. Working in the 'here and now' is important in my practice as it makes you the creator of your own narrative, owning your story, leaving the past behind and moving forward towards your goals and ideal self.
A part of my focus is in the psychodynamic approach, which has its roots in our unconscious processes and how our past influences our present. This is crucial for us to see where we have come from and what has shaped us. In addition, I also integrate a Humanistic Approach that assumes that every human being is intrinsically good and creative, focusing on a more positive outlook on humans. It treats the person as a "whole" and not simply the sum of its parts.
I provide a safe space in which you can be your true self and explore your past, present and future selves through self-reflection, self- compassion and non-judgmental awareness. This in turn, creates a dynamic container in which you can delve into the depths of the different parts of your consciousness.
Each individual is extremely unique and requires different approaches and sometimes a combination of approaches, depending on the person. Together we can create an individualised plan to achieve the goals you have in mind and embark on a journey of self-exploration, healing and co-creation.
I also provide 1-1 Adult ADHD Management sessions for those struggling with ADHD. For more information visit my website: www.nataschaknobloch.com. All sessions will be online.
