Through my studies of psychology and psychotherapy, my work with clients and also my own self-exploration, I learned how much our emotional world, our fears, belief systems and inner blockages affect our everyday life. I understood more and more, how important and valuable it is to try to understand how our mind works, what issues and fears we carry with us and where we create suffering in our lifes.
I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel safe to show every part of your personality, where you are fully seen and heard, especially for topics that might be connected to fear and shame. It should also be a place though, where you are challenged to get out of your comfort zone and that is not only about receiving help from others but also about getting the tools to help yourself.
As a queer therapist, it is especially important to me to be sensitve and supportive towards clients who face or faced any forms of discrimination.
