I'm a psychologist (M.Sc.), psychotherapist in training (psychodynamic & body psychotherapy), and certified coach in the Zen Coaching approach. Next to my psychological training, I have studied Yoga, Tantra, and meditation. Ever since, my professional and personal aspiration has been to combine the wisdom of meditation with the science of Psychology. In my experience, these mindfulness-based practices create space for a more profound self-connection, resilience, and holistic understanding.
My approach
I guide people to develop a deeper connection to their inner truth that will help in tackling maladaptive cognitions and emotions. By first arriving in the present moment, we can look at problems with a more calm and centered mind. This will give rise to important resources to use while making profound changes in life, as well as learning to accept it as it is. I work with mindfulness and the connection to the body in a trauma-sensitive way.
