I am a psychologist in advanced cognitive-behavioral therapy training with four years of professional experience.
A bit about my background: I grew up in Göttingen as the child of a German father and a Uruguayan mother. As a neurodiverse (ADD), bicultural, and queer person, I often experienced what it means to not conform to the norms of the majority society and to encounter misunderstanding. My journey in emotionally coping with this sense of otherness also informs my therapeutic expertise.
After completing my Master's degree in psychology, I moved to Berlin in 2020 to begin my training as a psychotherapist. I first completed the required clinical internships and, since 2022, have been treating my own patients under supervision.
I have already gained professional experience with the following issues:
- Depression, burnout
- Prolonged grief, loneliness
- Anxiety, hypochondria, panic attacks
- Attachment issues: fear of loss and attachment, coping with breakups, family conflicts
- Neurodiversity: AD(H)D, autism
- Psychosis, delusions
- Addiction
- Personality traits: narcissism, borderline, dependency, self-insecurity
- Chronic pain
