I practice NeuroSystemics, a somatic approach based on Polyvagal Theory and grounded in a relational framework. By integrating elements of positive psychology and nervous system science, I work together with you to develop and deepen your attentional skills and nervous system awareness.
I support you in building nervous system resilience through co-regulatory practices that gradually expand your capacity for self-regulation beyond our sessions and help you meet life’s challenges with greater agency and clarity.
I work with trauma, particularly relational trauma, not by speaking about it in detail, but by strengthening the capacity of your nervous system. The goal is not to “fix” your problems, but to support your nervous system so you can navigate everyday stressors without becoming overwhelmed. You learn to access more ease, reduce stress and physical tension, and cultivate access to pleasant and joyful sensations in your body.
What distinguishes my approach from many others is that we do not dwell in pain. Many people arrive with significant physical or emotional pain, and their relationship to their body is weakened because they primarily experience it through pain and therefore understandably avoid connecting with it. For a fuller sense of self, we work toward re-establishing a relationship with the body, not as something to escape from, but as a resource that supports, strengthens, and grounds you.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are exploratory rather than directive. You are welcome to bring a specific topic to explore, or we can engage in a more open, free-flowing conversation. When helpful, I offer psychoeducational input to support embodied experiences and to help make sense of the process on a cognitive level as well.
Together, we set milestones aligned with your goals and regularly reflect on both the process and the relationship we are co-creating.
Some areas I focus on include:
. Mindfulness
. Stress, depression, and trauma
. Relocation, migration, expatriation, and exile
. Conflict resolution
. Navigating neurodiversity
. LGBTQI+ experiences and non-monogamous relationships
. Process-oriented and group settings
This work supports a reorganization of your nervous system and expands your capacity to navigate everyday life with greater ease. It fosters a deeper understanding of how your nervous system functions and how you can regulate it beyond our sessions.
Potential benefits include:
. Greater presence and embodiment
. Increased ease in navigating relational challenges
. Recognizing nervous system states, understanding triggers, and responding with greater agency
. Reduced rumination and a deeper attunement to bodily signals
. Improved sleep quality
. Burnout prevention
. Greater understanding and transformation of depressive tendencies
. Managing stress in a gentler and more sustainable way
