Hello, I'm Tobias! As a systemic therapist and licensed psychotherapy practitioner (Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie), I support people through challenging phases of life – whether in couple relationships, as individuals, or within a family context. My aim is to offer you a trusting and safe space where you feel seen and understood.
»My Areas of Focus« • Couples Therapy & Counseling: Especially for couples questioning whether their relationship can last, those navigating separation, or partners seeking to reconnect after an affair. • Sex Therapy: For couples who want to reshape their intimacy. • Individual Counseling: For topics such as stress, adjustment disorders, grief work, transitions, or eating disorders (e.g., binge eating). • Interim Support: As a licensed psychotherapy practitioner, I also provide transitional support for individuals while they wait for a spot with statutory health insurance coverage. • Family Therapy: When family dynamics become stuck and new perspectives are needed.
»My Training & Qualifications« I am a certified systemic counselor trained at the Bremen Institute for Systemic Therapy (Bremer Institut für Systemische Therapie) and a member of the Systemic Society (Systemische Gesellschaft). I am currently completing an advanced training in systemic therapy at ISI Berlin (Institut für Systemische Impulse). In addition to my background in business psychology, I have completed trainings at LifeLessons in hypnosystemic work (based on Gunther Schmidt's approach) as well as couples and sex therapy (based on Ulrich Clement's approach). Further trainings in separation counseling and dealing with affairs round out my profile. I have been licensed as a Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie since 2025.
»Who I'm Here For« Everyone is welcome – regardless of origin, orientation, or lifestyle. I work with couples, individuals, and families, in German or English. What's important to me: There is no place for xenophobia or discrimination in my space – unless you want to question and let go of exactly these attitudes. I particularly enjoy supporting people in transitional phases: couples at a crossroads, people in grief processes or facing goodbyes, or those seeking a new path after a crisis.
»Accessibility & Framework« I work as a licensed psychotherapy practitioner with private-pay clients. Costs may potentially be covered by private supplementary health insurance. It's important to me that therapy doesn't fail due to finances: I always reserve spots for people who cannot afford regular therapy – students, unemployed individuals, or people in financial hardship. Just reach out to me directly. I always offer a free initial consultation – so we can see if there's a good fit. I see clients in my practice in Berlin-Pankow or online, depending on what works better for you.
Feel free to send me a no-obligation message if you have questions or are uncertain. We can also arrange a brief phone call if you prefer.
I look forward to getting to know you!
In systemic therapy and counseling, I don't see you in isolation, but always embedded in your relationships and life contexts. The patterns and dynamics within couple relationships, families, or other systems are at the heart of our work together.
My work is characterized by cooperation and equality. I approach you with a respectful and curious attitude – not focusing on deficits, but on your resources and strengths. You are the expert on your own life, and together we develop solutions that fit you.
The focus is on looking forward: Instead of getting stuck in problem patterns, we look at what works, what can be changed, and what new paths are possible. Through targeted questions, I guide and structure our conversations, while you determine the content and direction through your answers and perspectives. This creates counseling on equal footing, individually tailored to your situation.
Systemic therapy can be helpful for the following concerns:
• Current personal or professional challenges • Managing fears, worries, or stress • Finding orientation at turning points in life • Relationship crises, separation processes, or life after an affair • Grief and farewell situations • Rediscovering your own self and strengthening self-esteem • Discovering and developing your own strengths • Eating disorders such as binge eating • ... and much more
