About me

I was born in Belarus and moved to Germany in the age of 12. I studied psychology (B.Sc.) and was accredited as therapist (German: Heilpraktiker) in systemic and person-centred approach according to Carl Rogers. During my training I built practical experience in supporting clients during challenging life phases resulting in struggles such as anger, anxiety, burn-out, depression and psychosomatic disorders. In addtion to my work I am extending my qualification by a Master's degree in clinical psychology with focus on systemic approach since 2023. I offer online sessions as well as sessions in my space in Berlin Charlottenburg on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. For further information please visit: https://www.marieschild-counseling.com

My approach

My spectrum includes adjustment disorders, stress, burn-out, somatic disorders, anxiety and depression. I proceed with a holistic approach while considering interpersonal relationships and societal topics such as racism, discrimination, feminism and gender identity. My methods are rooted in solid theoretical framework mainly based on systemic and person-centred approach. I further use relaxation techniques, methods for grounding and coping with strong emotions, systemic constellation (family/group/inner-team constellation), methods for identification of ground beliefs and their modification also considering body cues.
