I think we all need and deserve support in times of struggle. As a systemic therapist, I have been working with people with mental illnesses for several years now, among other things specializing in eating disorders. In my experience it is often the most sensitive people who develop psychological problems. My job is to ask the right questions, so you can understand yourself and your needs better, reconcile with your past - and develop the strength to break new ground in your life.
With my background as a body psychotherapist I focus on your emotions. We look at the situations that are stressing you, how this is expressed in your body - and which message these feelings are trying to send. And we search for solutions: what do you want to express; how you can feel better; what does your body need? Our experiences in life are stored in our body - it's this "secret" and unconscious treasure of knowledge that we can use.
Terms such as sex positivity, BDSM and kink are now on everyone's lips in public discourse. Despite the new openness, many still find it difficult to talk about their sexuality and the associated desires and preferences. In therapy, these desires and needs can be expressed and explored in a safe space. For most people, sexuality is an important and valuable part of their personality. However, there is also the right not to want to live your sexuality. I am currently undergoing further training as a systemic sex therapist. For quality assurance purposes, the sessions are therefore regularly discussed and reviewed with a supervisor.
