About me
I am a systemic therapist and sex therapist working with individuals, couples and families.
For me, therapy means building acceptance and trust - in our relationships, in ourselves, but also between counsellor and client. Only then there can be room for change: developing new perspectives, working on your communication, re-discovering your strengths, searching for more meaning in life or embracing and expressing your own sexuality.
As a sex therapist I work with individuals and couples who struggle with lack of interest in sex, desire discrepancy, infidelity, non-monogamy, sex addiction, erectile dysfunction, pain during sex or orgasm difficulties. I enjoy working with clients of diverse backgrounds including gender, sexual orientation and preference, culture and religion.
Since seeking help is a big step for most people, I like to have a short chat with my clients by e-mail or on the phone to get the first impression of each other and see, if I can be helpful in their situation. Therapy sessions for individuals cost 90 euros for 50 minutes and for couples 150 euros for 90 minutes.

Approach
I am a certified systemic therapist for individuals, couples and families and a sex therapist. I work both dialogue-based and with creative methods like constellations (systemische Aufstellungen), also bringing in elements of mindfulness and embodiment, but not forgetting the cultural and societal influence on our health. I focus on strengthening the resources and resilience of my clients - in German, English and Finnish.
I currently work part time as a family therapist in a therapeutic group home for teenagers. My emphasis there is on crisis management, stabilizing and (re)gaining control, improving relationships and conflict skills. Prior to that I have many years of experience in working with couples, families and separated parents in a public counseling center. I also offer further education in systemic approach for professionals. I bring in all this experience in my work with private clients. Individuals, couples and families of all genders and backgrounds are welcome!
