About me
I am trained as a marriage and family therapist in the US and received my social work degree in Germany. I offer therapy and consultation for teens, adults, couples and families in German and English. I provide trauma informed, client centered, strengths based and culturally sensitive therapy services in a safe, authentic and compassionate environment.
I have lived 15 years of my adult life in Silicon Valley, California; a vibrant and stimulating environment with a high degree of racial and ethnic diversity.
I have been married for 20 years with two grown children.
My approach
I believe that a supportive therapeutic relationship can be the springboard from which many life issues can be addressed and healed. I am committed to your growth and the changes you want to make in your life.
I have always been fascinated with what therapy can do, so I have trained in different approaches; Systems Theory, CBT, Psychodrama, Transpersonal and Gestalt Therapy. These trainings have enriched my skills and I continue to keep learning and absorbing new techniques.
