About me
I am a seasoned Licensed Counsellor and Systemic Therapist for Couples and Families. Though I have graduated with Master of Arts (Pyschotherapy and Counselling) from the University of East London in 2020, however, I have been practicing counselling for these last 25 years. My career started in the addictions field with the National Agency in Malta, where we supported families of substance abusers both as a family, individual and also in group format.
Then I have worked with couples and families as a volunteer within a National Agency for Family Support in Malta (Kana Movement) and finally today, I have my own private practice which consists of counselling university students, adults and also families.
Also I am a certified Strengths Coach and offer Executive Coaching to people who are finding difficulties on the workplace emanating from the personal or workplace issues.
I have conducted counselling and coaching both face-to-face and online.

I am trained in humanistic and systemic approach, however by time I have accumulated other skills in various approaches including Cognitive Behavoiur Therapy, Coherence Therapy and other approach. I take more an electic approach and move step-by-step with the client according to the needs and arising issues. I believe that the most important in the counselling and coaching relationship is that any client builds connection with the counsellor or coach as this is vital to the development of the relationship and the improvement on the presented issues during the sessions.
