A Modern Approach to Psychotherapy: Where Science Meets Empathy.
As a licensed Psychological Psychotherapist with a Master’s in Neuropsychology, I support individuals in breaking free from stuck patterns and discovering new paths. Born and raised in Germany, my personal and professional journey has led me through the Netherlands and now to Portugal. These international chapters have broadened my perspective: I deeply understand the challenges that come with major life transitions and cultural adaptations.
My work combines the best of two worlds: a deep respect for the science of the brain and a compassionate commitment to the person behind the symptoms. I provide a space where we can explore the neurological "why" behind your reactions to create real, lasting change.
My Background in Numbers: 2,000+ Hours of Clinical Experience: Extensive work in individual and group therapy, ranging from inpatient acute care at the University Hospital Bonn to outpatient treatment.
Licensure (Approbation) & Expertise: Completed multi-year clinical training at the Cologne-Bonn Academy for Behavior Therapy (KBAV).
M.Sc. in Neuropsychology: Graduate of Maastricht University (NL), allowing me to view psychological processes through a neurological lens.
To me, therapy is more than just solving problems: it is a process of bringing the language of your body and your mind back into alignment. My approach is integrative, depth-oriented, and always at eye level.
The Two Pillars of Our Collaboration:
Neuropsychological Understanding: Behind every stuck pattern lies a specific logic within your brain. Together, we look at how your nervous system responds to stress or change. This knowledge removes the pressure: you realize that you aren’t "wrong," but that your system is simply programmed for safety.
Emotion-Focused Depth: True change requires more than just intellectual insight. We give your emotions the space they need to be felt and integrated. We don’t just work about feelings; we work with them to release blockages where they first originated.
What to Expect: Pragmatic Tools: You will receive concrete strategies for your daily life to help regulate your nervous system and stay grounded during difficult moments.
A Safe Space: Whether you are navigating a crisis or seeking personal growth, I support you with evidence-based expertise and a genuine presence.
100% Flexibility: Extensive experience in modern, location-independent online therapy for clients worldwide.
