With a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Child and Adolescent Psychology, I provide an understanding space for healing, inner calm and growth that allows you to connect with your childhood to lead a more fulfilling life.
Hi, my name is Marta, and I am originally from Slovakia, although I have lived in many other countries, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Colombia. Exposure to diverse regional contexts has given me tangible experience in adapting to and being sensitive to different cultural realities.
As I studied Child and Adolescent Psychology, I specialise in working with adolescents, parents and adults that would like to connect with their inner child. Oftentimes, it is our trauma from childhood and unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns that are holding us back from experiencing life with all the beauty and joy it has to offer.
I offer evidence-based counselling inspired by my Masters level training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, as well as Mindfulness and somatic practices and Trauma-Informed care. If you are looking for counselling for your adolescents, please send me a message and I can share more information.
We will work together to help you lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I look forward to meeting you!
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Rewiring the thoughts and beliefs that keep us stuck in unhelpful patterns
Solution-Focused Therapy: Focusing on solutions rather than problems, visualising and working towards a bright future together
Mindfulness-Based Therapy: Learning how to incorporate mindfulness and somatic practices into our daily life
Trauma-Informed Care: Learning how to overcome challenges that should no longer have a hold on our life
