How:
My goal is to first of all create a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe to be yourself. But also an environment in which you feel safe to confront yourself and being confronted with things that you avoid. I approach our sessions with empathy, honesty, humour and authenticity.
I work by:
1. Understanding the problem: Using different approaches: somatic, cognitive, emotional, we’ll explore what’s happening and why.
2. Focusing on your strengths: We build on your competence, resilience, and capacity, creating solutions together that you can rely on.
3. Taking responsibility: The goal is to help you take ownership of your life and this specific issue, step by step.
Besides the counted approach up on my profile, I use the hypno-systemic approach, which connects the intuitive and the cognitive, bridging what you feel and sense with what you consciously understand. This allows us to work with deeper layers of your experience and understanding the patterns that might otherwise stay hidden; so that we can connect the different patterns to different experiences within you and find a way of using them.
With Ego-State Therapy, we explore the different “parts” of you—those that are in conflict, stuck, or opposing your goals. By listening to these parts and finding ways for them to cooperate, we create a more integrated, dynamic self.
I also work with what is already present: signals in your body, movements, metaphors, and images. Together, we give space to these elements, uncover their messages, and use them to find clarity and resolution. The process is about creating alignment and letting all parts of you move forward as one.
I am looking forward to working with you soon!
