Hi
I am a therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I specialise in relationship counselling, depression and anxiety, addiction challenges, and men's issues.
I also have a lot of direct experience working in workplace assistance programs, providing therapy and counselling to people struggling at work.
I have worked in several local charities in East Sussex, and I currently work part time as a Therapist with the NHS.
I work flexibly according to my clients' needs, at my practice rooms or online, or by telephone.
I have a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University Surrey, a Diploma in Integrative Person-Centred Counselling, and over 25 years' experience in social care, mental heath and rehabilitation.
I help my clients with a wide range of issues, including:
Relationship breakdowns
Bereavement and loss
Anxiety, depression and low self-esteem
Fatigue, lack of motivation and loss of meaning
Life transitions and change
Mental Health problems
Addiction and Gambling
I have extensive experience of working with people who feel alienated and marginalised in our society. I welcome people of all sexualities and gender identities, and those who are questioning how they identify. I have worked at Brighton Housing Trust, Macmillan and the NHS.
I have a particular interest in mental health, how it affects us, and how we can improve the quality of our lives. I also have a particular focus in relationship breakdowns, how they affect us, and how we can move forward through these difficult times and find a way to feel better.
For me, it's really important that people are able to feel completely safe, secure, and to know that therapy is a unique place where there will be no judgement - just help, support, and understanding.
