I am a Lebanese and Canadian clinical psychologist with a Master’s degree specializing in children, adolescents, and families from a university in Belgium. I am a compassionate, empathetic, and approachable person who genuinely enjoys connecting with others and understanding their experiences. I am patient and attentive, always striving to create a safe and supportive environment where people feel heard and valued. Curious and open-minded, I embrace diversity and different perspectives, which allows me to relate to clients from a variety of backgrounds. I am also adaptable and creative in my approach, finding flexible solutions that meet the unique needs of each individual. Beyond my professional life, I am enthusiastic, committed, and motivated by growth.
During my internships and experiences at well-known hospitals in Brussels, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including children in various settings, adolescents in a psychiatric hospital, and adults in hospital environments. I have worked extensively with children both as a psychologist and in supportive roles outside of formal therapy, which has allowed me to develop strong skills in guiding young people and understanding their unique needs. These experiences provided me with in-depth exposure to different psychological conditions, developmental challenges, and family dynamics. Working with patients in such varied settings enhanced my clinical skills and deepened my understanding of the importance of personalized, empathetic care. I have learned to approach each individual’s needs with flexibility, patience, and attention, recognizing that every person’s story is unique and that effective support requires interventions tailored to their specific context.
Throughout my career, I have focused extensively on working with children and adolescents, both in clinical and supportive environments. I am passionate about guiding young people and their families through emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. My approach is person-centered and practical, combining evidence-based strategies with creativity, empathy, and active listening to foster resilience and self-awareness. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, share their experiences, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s difficulties. Whether helping a child manage anxiety, supporting an adolescent through depression, or guiding a family through relational challenges, I take pride in offering care that is compassionate, responsive, and growth-oriented. In addition to my clinical experience, my work in leadership and mentorship roles has allowed me to support children’s personal growth, social development, and problem-solving skills outside of a clinical context, reinforcing the values of trust, independence, and collaboration that I bring into my professional practice.
Being international, I bring a global perspective to my work and enjoy connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I believe that understanding cultural context, individual differences, and personal history is essential for meaningful psychological support. My international outlook allows me to appreciate multiple perspectives, adapt to varying communication styles, and create an inclusive environment where clients feel respected, valued, and safe. Ultimately, my work is guided by a dedication to fostering well-being, resilience, and positive development. I aim to help children, adolescents, and families identify their strengths, cultivate coping strategies, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. By integrating my clinical training, hands-on experience, and personal values, I strive to provide comprehensive, personalized, and compassionate care that empowers every individual I work with to grow, thrive, and feel supported on their journey.
