Hi! I'm Zsófi, a psychologist (licenced in Hungary) and a parent-infant consultant. Working with individuals experiencing everyday stress, anxiety, relationship issues or who just wish to have a deeper understanding of themselves. Besides, as I'm specialized in developmental psychology, particularly in early childhood, I work with the topics of motherhood as an identity, parenthood difficulties or questions about children's development.
I've completed my degrees in Budapest, graduated as a psychologist from ELTE (Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem). Also spent a semester studying at KU Leuven (Belgium), where I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge about psychology from a broader point of view. My studies lead me to a deeper curiosity about early childhood, so I've completed Integrated Parent-Infant/Child Consultation as a postgraduate degree, allowing me to work together with families with problems emerging in early childhood (eating, sleeping, behavioural problems etc.). Knowledge about early experiences and relationships also guides me working with adults individually, as we explore past memories to find out how do we become the people who we are.
I've gained experience as a psychologist in both the educational and the social welfare system in Hungary, and also in the private sector, working many times with adults, parents, children at all ages and families altogether with a small child.
In this field as a professional I consider constant education, self-development and staying up-to-date to the newest academic studies and results as the key to provide the most I can to a client.
My goal is to provide a safe space approaching problems with empathy and acceptance in which it's possible to work on yourself. I know how it feels to be understood and accepted, and I hope everyone gets to experience it one day.
