I was born in Moscow. Here I grew up and got my education. Clinical psychologist is my second and main profession. First I got the bachelor’s degree of historian-orientalist with knowledge of the Eastern language at The Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University (MSU). Working abroad in Asia and traveling awakened a very strong interest in psychology. To have it satisfyed, I had to return to the University and continue my studies. In 2006 I received my second diploma being graduated with honors from the Department of Neuro- and Pathopsychology of the Faculty of Psychology of MSU. Since then I have been working as a practicing psychologist, using not only my specific knowledge, but the entire store of experience of a professional historian - orientalist too.
I love my job. I used to like the place where I worked for the last two years: The Psychotherapeutic Department of the University Clinical Hospital of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov.
Now I live in Buenos Aires and continue my professional practice here. I will be glad if I'm able to help anyone to resolve problems and come to a more harmonious and peaceful life.
As a Russian - and English-speaking therapist, I work with adults both offline and online. Adhering psychodynamic and CBT approaches in my practice, I try to do my best to help my clients to understand comprehensively the difficulties and problems they deal with. Working together we try to find not only reasons and core structure of the problem, but an individual attitude that helps to solve it. Including a discussion of how others successfully deal with similar cases and why such a method may be appropriate or vice versa in each individual case.
If needed, I also prefer to narrate about my own experience of coping with a similar problem, when it is consonant with the leitmotif of the therapeutic task.
