My name is Liza Schejtman. I am a psychoanalyst, a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires, and currently an associate member of the Luis Chiozza Foundation, where I continued my studies after graduating by pursuing postgraduate training in psychoanalysis.
Often, when we’re feeling unwell, we try to make sense of it through reason—we think, we analyze, and yet, we still don’t fully understand what’s happening to us. This is because we sometimes need someone else to help us see what we cannot see on our own.
🌱 About My Approach
1.🗣️ The First Session: Your Space to Share In our first session, you'll have the chance to talk about what’s bringing you in, what’s been affecting you lately, and how it’s impacting your life.
I’ll ask questions to help you describe your feelings, emotions, sensations to help me understand better your situation.
We’ll explore: • When these feelings started • What might be connected to their onset • Any situations, relationships, or events that may be involved
We might talk about: • Your daily routines and interests • Family dynamics and relationships • Life events that have left a mark — such as an illness, accident, loss, big move, or other transitions
Every conversation is tailored to you. I follow what feels relevant based on what you share.
I work with psychoanalysis, using the technique of free association, a method that encourages you to speak freely, without censoring your thoughts, feelings, or memories. This open expression allows hidden or unspoken parts of your experience to emerge naturally.
This process is: ✔️ Insightful ✔️ Transformative ✔️ A powerful path to self-understanding and lasting emotional change.
