I’m a licensed clinical psychologist, specialized in cognitive-behavioral therapy and evidence-based practices. I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves and find ways to face life with a bit more ease.
Hi there! I'm Manuela, and here's a little about me: I was born in Venezuela and was raised across the United States, Panama and Argentina (lot's of moving!). I studied music for a long time and thought that was where my future was headed, but at 14 years old I discovered psychology and knew right away that was the path I wanted to follow. At 19, I moved to Argentina to study at the University of Buenos Aires, where I graduated as a psychologist. All those moves and changes gave me a deep appreciation for the process of adapting and growing. This has shaped both who I am and how I approach my work, where I try to create a space that feels safe, grounding, and authentic.
I see therapy as a collaborative journey. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, helping you find tools that feel useful and meaningful for your life. While my work is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy, I adapt the approach to each person’s story and pace, balancing practical strategies with reflection and self-discovery.
My intention is to create a space that feels safe and welcoming — a place where you can share freely, experiment with new ways of thinking and acting, and feel supported through life’s twists and turns. I like to think of therapy as the place where you fill up your “toolbox”: together, we build skills and strategies that help navigate challenges with more clarity, confidence, and calm.
I strive to offer support, understanding, and practical ways to make things feel a little more manageable. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling a bit lighter, more equipped, and better able to face life.
I work as a psychotherapist, supporting clients both in person at a mental health clinic and virtually with clients around the world.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After earning my degree, I pursued further professional training in cognitive-behavioral and contextual therapy, deepening my knowledge and skills in evidence-based approaches.
