Living abroad or in a multicultural couple? Let’s talk about the hard stuff—identity, connection, and change. I offer therapy in English or Spanish, at your pace.
I’m Eleazar, a psychologist and psychotherapist with years of experience working across borders, languages, and life stories. I specialize in helping people who live between cultures, are in intercultural or mixed relationships, or are navigating major life transitions—whether that means starting over in a new country or rethinking old patterns.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I draw from a flexible, grounded foundation that includes humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive psychology, as well as narrative therapy. Together, we’ll explore what feels stuck or unclear—at a pace that works for you, in a space that’s supportive but not passive, reflective but not overwhelming.
Therapy with me is calm, respectful, and grounded in mutual trust. I pay close attention to your language—not just the words you speak, but how you speak to yourself and how your story has been shaped by your experiences, environment, and relationships.
If you’re far from home, living in multiple worlds, or navigating love across cultural lines, we can work together to make sense of what’s unfolding—and take small but meaningful steps toward the life you want.
I offer a flexible, client-centered approach grounded in humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive, and narrative psychology. I tailor each session to the person in front of me—there is no fixed formula. We might explore patterns from your past, unpack thoughts and emotions in the present, or take a close look at your routines, relationships, and values.
At times, our work may be deep and reflective—naming internal conflicts or navigating grief, identity, or life transitions. Other times, we might focus more practically: using breathing exercises, body awareness, or concrete strategies to manage a specific situation. Whether you’re looking for short-term support or a longer process of self-discovery, we’ll define the pace and focus together.
I aim to create a calm, respectful space where you feel heard in your language—emotionally and literally (in English or Spanish). I work well with people navigating change, especially those living between cultures or in intercultural relationships.
