I believe deeply in compassionate work and building a "joint road" together. I see my clients as true partners in the healing journey; I bring my clinical expertise, and we combine it with your resources—which we can find together if they feel far and unreachable. My background is as a social worker, and I’ve spent over 11 years (10 of them online) learning that healing happens when we create a safe, kind space to look at life together in a bold, brave way, and in the right rhythm and intensity that fits you. I’ve even had the privilege of teaching other therapists how to build this connection in the online world. I am very open to the experience of feeling "different" or having a complicated identity background. I offer an affirmative, warm space for neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD, Autism, and Giftedness. I also have extensive experience accompanying immigrants and couples from different cultural backgrounds, navigating the unique challenges of building a life and a relationship between worlds. I feel a lot of respect and curiosity for your story; while I am the specialist of the therapeutic process, you are the specialist of yourself. I believe in the human spirit and the power of healthy, corrective experiences. My background includes clinical research and years of private practice, but at the heart of it all is my belief that we don’t have to stay in suffering and shaken in your 'here and now' from your old wounds. We can work together to make sure your past is a part of you, but not the "manager" of you.
My approach is integrative and focuses on attachment and trauma. I use five different methods in my work (ACT, AEDP, and Individual EFT), and I have completed international and European certifications in three of them: Advanced Schema Therapy, EMDR, and EFT for couples (EFCT). I also bring experience from my time as a specialist in university research about depression. By weaving these tools together, we work on "rewiring" the brain to create better, more useful ways of coping. My goal is to help you process your past so it stops being the manager of your triggers and your current relationships. My practice helps people deal with both one-time traumas and repeated attachment wounds—like growing up with difficult family dynamics, stress, abandonment and hurting relationships. We can’t change the history of what happened, but we can do interventions and experiential work—like imagery, chair work or body awareness informed work—to reshape how it affects your life today. I’m here to help you move toward a life that feels more balanced and meaningful, where you feel more in control and at peace in a way that actually fits who you are today.
