About me

I support people facing a wide range of emotional struggles, including anxiety, depression, and patterns that feel hard to break. While I work with diverse concerns, a big part of my practice is devoted to those who feel stuck in their relationships, helping them move away from chasing love that feels out of reach or settling for less than they need, and toward relationships that feel mutual, secure, and fulfilling. My Journey My path as a psychotherapist is closely intertwined with my personal story. In my own life, some of my deepest pain has been connected to the difficulties I faced in relationships. Throughout my twenties and well into my thirties, I longed for a healthy romantic relationship, yet found myself repeatedly unable to make it work. Even though I had a fulfilling life in many ways - meaningful friendships, work I cared about - the absence of that kind of connection affected me deeply. Through my own therapy process, I realized that by rejecting the parts of myself I had labeled as too sensitive, too much, or not enough, I was silencing important messages about who I really was and what I needed. Learning to embrace what was uniquely mine, and to trust my emotions and instincts, transformed not just my relationships, but my entire sense of self. It gave me a profound sense that my life is my own and that I am the captain of my ship, steering it toward what truly matters. This journey has shaped how I work with clients today. How I Can Help I support people who feel unfulfilled in their relationships or stuck in repetitive emotional patterns, whether those show up in dating, partnerships, friendships, or in how they relate to themselves. Some of these concerns are: • Feeling drawn to emotionally unavailable partners • Anxious attachment patterns (worrying, seeking reassurance, fear of abandonment) • Avoidant attachment patterns (difficulty with intimacy or commitment) • Relationship insecurity or anxiety around dating • Trouble opening up, trusting, or expressing emotions • Difficulty setting boundaries or communicating needs • Feeling low, hopeless, or overwhelmed • Loneliness, feelings of emptiness • Feeling stuck in life • Struggling with depression • Social and performance anxiety I’m deeply moved by human suffering in all its forms, and I’m committed to helping people find the freedom and fulfillment that I know are possible. At the heart of my work is a wish for you to recognize your own worth and trust that the world can meet you with the care and connection you long for.

How We Work Together We begin by taking an honest and compassionate look at what’s happening in your life right now. We explore what's working, what's not, and what might be keeping you stuck. Many clients come to therapy after spending so much time and energy trying to figure things out on their own, only to find themselves caught in the same cycles. It becomes increasingly hard to stay hopeful when you’ve tried everything you can think of and still feel stuck in the same painful place. Together, we slow things down and start to notice what's really happening beneath the surface: the emotions, thoughts, needs, and protective strategies. The Methods I Use I’m trained in Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), combining these evidence-based approaches to help address emotional challenges at their root. Through Schema Therapy, we explore the early experiences that shape your current struggles, clarifying the emotional needs that went unmet and the coping strategies you developed to protect yourself. We work with the parts of you that show up in relationships, at work, or in your own self-talk, learning to meet them with understanding rather than judgment. Drawing from ACT, we cultivate mindfulness and awareness skills that help you stay present with difficult emotions and choose actions aligned with your values, even when fear, doubt, or uncertainty arise. My approach is both reflective and practical: we deepen your understanding of yourself while also making small, meaningful shifts that bring more freedom, authenticity, and connection into your life. If my approach resonates with you, I encourage you to reach out. I offer a free 30-minute first session to explore whether we are a good fit and to see how my approach to therapy may support you.
