Since I can remember I feel a deep connection with other people and their experiences, therefore, psychology seamed to be a perfect fit. I completed my master's degree in, clinical psychology with cognitive-behavioral therapy specialization, in 2020 and I've been working in the field since then.
During this period, guided through curiosity, I continue to study and learning about contextual therapies, namely, compassion focused therapy, mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy. These therapies focus on creating a rich, meaningful life by improving the ability to respond to life’s challenges and navigate difficulties with curiosity, openness, awareness, and purposeful action, rather than trying to change or control our negative experiences.
Therapy is a process, in my view, a collaborative one. During our time together, in a safe and non judgmental space we will learn more about you and your experience, exploring your challenges.
In our sessions, you may expect different components, since psychoeducation, to practical exercises aligned with you and your needs.
Instead of focusing on fixing problems or difficulties, my goal is to help you gain awareness and embrace your emotional experiences with kindness, building the capacity for change, and living a life that is authentic and fulfilling.
