I am a Psychologist in Training, currently working within a supervised clinical context in Portugal. My work focuses on understanding psychological functioning from an integrative perspective, particularly the relationship between emotional processes and cognitive functioning. Throughout my training and supervised practice, I have studied and worked with sleep-related difficulties, with particular attention to their impact on psychological well-being. I am also currently deepening my knowledge in neuropsychology, with a focus on adult cognitive functioning. I see therapy as a space for listening and reflection, where each person can explore their difficulties at their own pace. I value a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship, where understanding comes before change.
My work is grounded in an integrative approach. In sessions, I aim to explore not only symptoms, but also the emotional and cognitive processes that underlie them. I value a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship, where listening, curiosity, and respect for each person’s pace are central. The therapeutic process is tailored to individual needs, with the aim of fostering greater awareness, emotional regulation, and meaningful change over time.
