As someone who has struggled with anxiety symptoms and gone through a therapeutic process, I know that working on yourself is a process that is not easy but it is worthwhile. It allows us to develop our full potential, reach self-actualization and live with a sense of fulfillment. This does not mean that we will no longer experience difficulties or stressful situations, but that we can be truly present in our lives, here and now. Working on yourself is a process that never stops. We always have something to discover about ourselves, to work on it. It is the richness and diversity of life.
In order to connect with the wounded and painful parts and work through some hard moments, I strive to provide the necessary safe environment filled with empathy, compassion, acceptance, and openness. I am compassionate and supportive to others in their development and growth. No human emotion, thought, or behavior is strange or unknown.
Through the process, we learn how to be aware of thoughts, emotions, and common behaviors in everyday situations and interactions. Together, we strive to gain insights into how those thoughts and emotions relate to the deeper beliefs, attitudes, and rules we learned long ago. Since everything we have learned can be unlearned, it leaves us room to work. Also, it is important to connect emotionally with painful parts of yourself. This allows the wounds to heal.
